@eniko It's actually one of the better put together FOSS graphics thingies. Like you can use it and not immediately go "oh no a programmer designed this interface"

Free, open source, lots of plugins, runs decent on basically every computer I've ever tried it on.

I also hate blender.

UV unwrapping is my nemesis, I have no intuition for it, I despise modelling hands and feet, I've finished tutorials and felt good and then I try recreate it without the tutorial and just... Where is anything? Why does everything involve a shortcut? Which plugin did the tutorial person use again? Ugggghhhhh.

i think part of it is the practice i got making a bunch of (very simple) models for block game made me much more comfortable and confident navigating it as a piece of software
