Anyway. I’m in the studio with the 22/25 year old babies. They want to know what #90s #rock #music sounded like. #Indie, metal, #industrial, all of it. I’ve been providing some key players, but I know you guys have deep cuts and b-sides you’re willing to share.
#90sMusic fedi, it’s your time to shine. Send me your favorite rock albums, singles, remixes, whatever.
@ErickaSimone I keep going back to the Flaming Lips/Transmissions from the Satellite Heart

If you lived along the Borderland, then Ian Moore - Muddy Jesus (1995)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_faV8Y8tw0Y
Jesus lived in a ramshackle shack
With a fat New Orleans junkie
A charismatic cholo so
Some say he was born plain lucky
He'd cruise the streets of Juarez
In his low cut Eldorado
Divine command, oil slick hands
A brash and bold bravadoMother Mary said your time has come
The river's wide but can be fought and won
For the very love of God and man
Jesus cross the Rio GrandeJesus fell in step with a group of high powered federales
Who set him down and formed their plan through a haze of cold Tecates
Judas said now Jeez I know you're prone to walk on water
But if you swim downstream there's a better chance that you'll make it across the borderMother Mary said your time has come
The river's wide but can be fought and won
For the very love of God and man
Jesus cross the Rio GrandeJesus made his run on a hot and humid Friday night
But his vision was blinded by the bright El Paso lights
He never saw the shot that left him short of freedom's land
But the faithful they're still waiting for the coming of their man -

@magreggins @ErickaSimone @ohmu what was particularly interesting about him was how many artists had him collaborate or remix back in those days.
His don't fear the reaper ep with Lydia Lunch or work with Marc Almond, Front 242 remixes...
