One thing I hate about Blender is the middle mouse button for moving the camera. My middle mouse button is also the scroll wheel and it's hard/stiff to push and often scrolls with I do. I want to make right-click the middle and the middle be right-click. I might have to look for 3rd party solution. It's driving me crazy. And yes, I know you can remap the middle button to alt+button, but that is what I want.
@grumpygamer when using Caita (navigation also heavily relies on the middle mouse), a good solution is getting a second mouse with 3 buttons (no wheel). I don’t know if this helps in blander. Otherwise a Spacenavigator / 3D mouse.

@grumpygamer you can remap any button, also swap middle and right mouse buttons, but it's one of the most tedious work ever conceived as you must search every entry in Preferences by Key-binding and edit it

@grumpygamer as far as I know blender has options to change that.. it's been a while since I last used blender, though.

@sol_hsa All I've found is alt+left mouse to emulate middle button, that that is not what I want.

@grumpygamer Yes, I was wrong, it only lets you swap left and right mouse buttons.
It's almost as if no game developers have ever touched the codebase.

@grumpygamer Should try using it on a MacBook's trackpad, where even Right-MB can be tough.

@grumpygamer It's an expensive hardware solution, but Blender has good 3D Connexion support. 6DOF analog camera control.

@grumpygamer I wonder if you can just rewire the inside of a cheap mouse to literally swap the two triggers over 🤔

@grumpygamer I have only started recently started learning Blender. It irks me that after I stop using it, I keep pressing the goddamn wheel everywhere and I have to physically stop myself.
