Final ADDENDUM. Ok. I underestimated the damage to my knee and elbow. I’ll spare you the pix. But definitely more blood than I expected. Wounds are cleaned and disinfected, a night of sleep and ibuprofen should fix it. And more dirty laundry than expected.

@_elena I slept fine. The right arm is a bit stiff, as expected, but that's about it. I will be on my way to the office in a bit. Of course on the bicycle :) As you know, men have two modes when they are hurt or sick. Either "the world is ending, I'm gonna die!1!!" or "All that blood? Let's just wipe it off as I am the strongest man in the world". Today it's the second mode :) But when I catch a cold, it will be the first one :)

No spoilers here (and vote if you can) but my heart aches a little for the fact Sharkey didn't get much love. It's the fedi software I'm most tempted to install because I LOVE its UX/UI... it's just that I have enough ActivityPub profiles as it is 🤪
It totally makes sense to see what's the popular choice for now and I'd be thrilled to feature it in my guide, as it has become absolutely essential to me.

@_elena I'd love a NextCloud one as I'm using it but hosted by LibreCloud I think. I'd love to self host that for a variety of reasons, especially privacy.

Indeed... I can self-host now but I'm still keeping my main Fediverse profile on mastodon.social (and I'm donating to it monthly) for its reliability and solidity.
Self-hosting NextCloud has been a total game-changer, as it has come to replace Dropbox, Google Docs, Google Drive and WeTransfer for me 😊
