Damn. That is brutal. Amazon is cutting 30,000 corporate jobs (about 9% of its corporate workforce) beginning tomorrow. The layoffs will hit various groups, including HR, devices, and IT. CEO Jassy stated the move will help reduce bureaucracy and boost the company's use of AI. The ultimate goal is to speed up AI adoption and cost cutting to boost Amazonβs bottom line
