I hadn't built a website with WordPress for several years, and the truth is that it has advanced a lot.
In my day (cough! cough! cough!), sooner or later I had to touch some PHP, tweak the styles directly in the child theme's styles.css, and even fight with JS.
Nowadays, there's a plugin for everything, all kinds of templates, builders, add-ons for plugins... It's crazy.
What I really don't like is that many paid plugins, which used to be “buy & use,” are now “rent & use,” forcing you to make periodic payments. Not cool.

Il 13 novembre ha segnato una svolta in #Europa. Il Parlamento europeo, in un'alleanza strategica deliberata e senza precedenti tra destra ed estrema destra, ha adottato una legge regressiva nota come "Omnibus I" , che smantella la direttiva sulla due diligence aziendale e addirittura rimuove, nel pieno della #COP30, l'obbligo per le multinazionali di produrre e attuare "piani di transizione climatica" volti a rispettare l'Accordo di Parigi.

@Tutanota yesterday, after months being ignored by Microsoft when my data export from Outlook was not working, I finally circumvented the block using @thunderbird and can now import the last of my emails in my Tuta account!
That's actually bad news for Tuta as I will not need a Legend account anymore, but this Christmas I will be giving the gift of European freedom, so it evens out.
