I've been talking about public transit and bike lanes for NYC on Twitter, which was great, and getting called a Nazi on Bsky.

@rysiek I tried from the start to say if you use Twitter's interface, and invite Twitter's most angry users over, you end up with Twitter's culture on steroids.
I was not successful, but I did have to leave the platform for my own safety not long after it launched. 😬

@Nux this is so 80ies! This song has the same effect on me, and I have clear memories of those days. Some aspects of my character were defined in those days. I'll probably write a blog post now that the memory has resurfaced.

@Nux For many years there wasn't one. When I lived alone, I only went into the bedroom to sleep (there was the book, then the Kindle, on the nightstand). Then, after getting married, when my wife goes to bed, I go too, but it's quite early for me to sleep. For a while I used a tablet, and then I got a TV for which I use as a bigger tablet. It's not connected to regular TV channels and I only use it for a movie or a video before sleeping.

@xconde no, it wasn't me.
I have an old 2013 MBP and I remember I tried with FreeBSD a couple of years ago. If I remember correctly, except for the wifi, it was working.
