I put this lighter orange fabric next to the dark orange cushions, to ask my husband’s opinion. He immediately pulled it over the capybara stuffy like a blanket, all tucked in for the night.
I turned it into bolster cushions. So the capybara doesn’t have a blanket anymore, but she has plenty of cushions. The cool thing about this capybara stuffy, aside from the fact that she’s a capybara stuffy, is that she has a zipper under her belly, with two baby capybaras.

That's kind of her. Something extra special about a capybara from Brazil. -

I need to learn Portuguese. I can understand it mostly, though, at least casual how's-it-going conversation. -
@babyalligator thanks! That was definitely my aim!

I need to learn Portuguese. I can understand it mostly, though, at least casual how's-it-going conversation.@dillyd When I learned it I mostly did a lot of comparing to Spanish. Some false friends, of course, but since they're cousins it's pretty easy. (Of course I realize you already speak two other cousin langs, hehehe. I've tried the same tack with French and not had the same success...)

Yeah Portuguese is closer than French. Although learning Spanish first certainly made it easier to learn French, I wouldn't have understood anything in French without lessons, the way I can understand a lot of Portuguese -

That's so cute it could get me to like the color orange again. -

#capybaraI appreciate people who aren't afraid of color. Love it all.
