@WilliamHeath That's a beautiful instrument!Best way to clean the keys is with something really light and soft.Stay far far far away from anything abrasive on the keys. Else you'll be wheel buffing each one to get the finish right again.

@blogdiva @iFixit @sewingI don't know where you live, but here in Britain we have a relatively new phenomenon called a 'Repair Cafe' where capable, talented volunteers try to fix whatever - electrical, electronic, textile, mechanical, etc... is brought to them. I do a bit of woodwork, and have recently repaired a high chair and a guitar (which gave ME a thrill to fix) which had a broken neck.
