I did in fact take the Wizards Staff for myself, but only to borrow it's power as a walking stick. (Tripped over a root while gardening earlier, turns out I *did* injured something! )The Staff helped me navigate the rougher part of this hike.Once back on the main trail, I thanked it, and left propped against another tree.
