#Flowers #Fruit #Pollinators #IowaTwo pear trees are bravely blossoming during this cool and windy week. Today, with sunshine and 57° F (14° C), I saw some pollinators, including the little wasp/ant-looking thing in the center of the photo.

@capnthommo They definitely are fine birds. We're lucky to have them year round. The male is about the brightest-colored bird we have. But the female's color scheme is probably my favorite.

So far, we’re up to an inch (25 mm) of rain between yesterday and today. That’s about the same as what we received in all of March.
