Today is catch up day.Summer and I have already filled the free pantry, started the laundry and cooked breakfast.Later, I will meet my new woke hair stylist. I told her not to worry. I will be happy with the haircut, really. It's just hair and it will grow back. I know my hair is hard to cut. We will figure it out together.Yesterday, we decided to donate all of the money we would have spent on the holidays to the local food bank instead of sending gifts to out of town relatives. I didn't realize that upgrading the cell phones for six people would be so complicated. It took a family meeting, a spreadsheet, and a phone call with customer service. Trying to prioritize our wants and needs against the cost and hard sell service provider tactics.We finally figured it out.I am old enough to remember when my whole family shared one phone on the wall and we all knew each other's business for better or worse.I don't tell the grandkids that, because it sounds too much like walking to school up hill both ways.Sometimes, I wonder how I ever got so dependent on a device that shares my personal information with goodness knows who.It must be progress, right?Summer says she prefers her in person communication style.#Summer #DogsOfMastodon

Here I go again posting the mundane happenings of our simple lives. I saw a toot yesterday where a person was bemoaning how boring it is to read about plain old everyday stuff on Mastodon.No razzle dazzle on this timeline just Summer and I as we scurry down the road for another early morning adventure. Summer will be three years old this month.The thought occurred to me that many of you have been following her since she joined our family.
