After several very tiring days, I finally got to go out. The prize was a least bittern, which I'd never have spotted on my own. Fortunately, most birders are very friendly and helpful. I definitely need to get on top of cleaning my window as soon as possible. I was curious to see what Smeagol would do if I opened the curtains while she was under the window.
