Ignore this toot just testing something.#FreeBSD

@justine this works, anyway: https://mastodon.bsd.cafe/@justine@snac.smithies.me.uk/tagged/FreeBSD
it's strange - maybe somehow related to the interaction with snac? I'll perform a test with my own snac instance
@stefano don't know if it helps, but on the instance I'm on @justine 's first tagged toot appears in the tag feed: https://social.lol/tags/freebsd

Yes thank you this does help as it proves that my toot is searchable by hashtag . Strange how it does not show on the bsd.cafe all of a sudden.

It's almost certainly not personal. It looks like some indexing is not happening properly.
Check out the #MeerMittwoch hashtag on the same node, for example. It claims 2 posts today, and yet lists the most recent post under the hashtag as having happened back on the 7th.

It's hosted on my own server at home which is more than capable and has always worked before. Nothing has changed config wise apart from #Snac updates.

@marzlberger @justine @alelab I can see this. I've just disabled the public disclosure of external messages. I mean: you can't see external instances' posts using the BSD Cafe server if you're not logged in. This because I've seen some bad contents (posts without CWs, porn, illegal stuff) being served by the BSD Cafe (not by BSD Cafe users) and publicly available. I'll make a public post about this.
