@reverseics holy shit i had no idea this existed. props to the propmakers for sourcing an actual robocop outfit (someone threw down hard here) THAT MANY EXPLODING DICKS, and decking out a beretta 93r. hahahaha this is wild.

@reverseics so the janky homeassistant powered cheap chinese humidifier decided it was gonna run all night, and my automations didnt work correctly so we woke up to puddles and a huge wet section of the living room this morning, but after that, pretty sure my friday can only improve from here forward

@reverseics now i cant stop thinking about the prop masters for that remake. someone had to have like two dozen exploding dicks. it would have taken testing, squib placement, fake blood dosing - like, thats work. some people spent days/weeks perfecting dick explosions for this to happen.
i salute their commitment to filmmaking excellence

@Viss Not only continued sexualization, but continued removal of her very independence, akin to the very material her creation and characterization was inspired by: Ridley and the Alien franchise.
Ridley's independence was slowly being peeled back in favor of adding a cast of obvious expendables who were merely there to make her look better without any effort by the writers, or to prop her up as some sexualized trophy to be obtained in the third movie. Hell, they fucking cloned and lobotomized her in the fourth Alien movie (which I couldn't even make it past the scene where she's being taught how to say "fork" and ends up saying "fuck", which hey, bimbofication was not at all on my bingo card).
And now with Metroid, whaddya know, Prime 4 seems to be taking Samus in this direction too. And don't get me started on Other M and how much more explicit it was with sexualizing Samus while making her subservient to a male superior. Ugh. Makes my skin crawl.
