Lol, that "worst Cloudflare outage since 2019" a couple of days ago was because somebody put an .unwrap() into a Rust codebase? I have so many questions...
...tbf though, "let it crash" isn't bad for a backend-service, but the other half is that you better make damn sure that each crash-path is properly tested, especially that the service properly recovers - maybe they should have used Erlang instead ;)

It never gets old. Making little guys move around on the screen is never not fun. Still buggy in the controls, but with the right jiggling the handle, we have animation.

@nyquildotorg Snowmen in the general case is an interesting predicament, because on one hand male-is-default is problematic, but on the other hand I agree that Snowperson is excessively politically correct especially considering that the reason young girls can never grow up to be Snowmen is not because of sexism but because they are embodied in flesh and are not made of snow.
However, I would like to point out that "the snow people" sounds mysterious and exciting.
