Its very feature rich and mature on #eOS and #Zorin. But I'm sure they have some dirt on them.

@leanderlindahl Yes, kind of. I only drive a bicycle but I tested CoMaps and OSMand for a friend driving by car.

He wanted to also have traffic information but you only get this from Google. There is a workaround to show traffic jam data in OSMand but it's not nice.

In general I would say CoMaps for car navigation but there is no complete free replacement for Googles data so I came up with the idea why not change your way of commuting to break free.

My choice is OSMand BTW.

We don't have an app, as it's not really needed. You can use it from your browser, and all the settings are stored in the url.

So if you create a shortlink on your mobile desktop you have the same effect as an app. 😊

@lokjo @aandre yes I understand that. I don't think that will work well with a disinterested regular person. I believe it has to be easy to download and install on your mobile to get people to switch. I realise you probably disagree, but that is what I believe and it mirrors my experience.

Ah yes no worries, everybody has it's own opinion, nothing wrong with that.

I understand apps are easier, once you have them installed. Though when it's about a service you like, I don't think it should be a burdon just using a webservice.

Anyways, thanks for helping out spreading european services, every little thing helps!
