Four #fungi from yesterday's walk.
The orange one was WILD. I'm not sure if it was dying or fruiting or what, but it appeared to be melting into orange slime. Super neat.

@dicenbuttons Yeah that Salvador Dali looking decomposition mode is not uncommon. Amanita muscaria does that as part of the reproductive lifecycle. In their case they attract flies as it decays. I suspect the flies proceed to take off covered in spores, helping spread the colony.

Probably a similar process to the Coprinellus

Gli squali sono davvero affascinanti. Non sapevo che la specie della Groenlandia potesse vivere fino a 400 anni e che avesse la capacità di "riparare" i danni agli occhi provocati dai parassiti che infestano i loro bulbi oculari.
