New Year, Same Job Search. If you are looking for a Staff/Principal level #PHP developer, with a long history of helping both projects and teams update and modernize to become more robust and reliable, look no further because you've found him! I've worked on multiple major OSS projects, including PHP itself.US-based, remote-only, plenty experience working for non-US companies as well. https://www.linkedin.com/in/larry-garfield/#GetFediHired #Programming

I have a training course for the basics of Rust. In about four hours I can cover enough to enable the students to learn more on their own. Now that Rust is a core part of the Linux kernel, I imagine there are some Linux kernel developers who feel they need to learn Rust soon. They should talk to their employer to hire me to teach them.https://liw.fi/training/rust-basics/(Blatant ad. Feel free to boost.)#Linux #Rust #RustLang

#AdventOfCode #Day8 with #rust I spent an inordinate amount of time on part1 because * imo the problem definition is wrong* it does matter if you put permutations or combinations in the list, even if you filter them out :( Part 2 is basically the same and I already did it in ruby so I'm not doing it again, at least not today.I wanted to do this with union-find but I have yet to get to the chapter about generics and it seems cheating to do it without it :) https://gist.github.com/riffraff/267f1e326e447815ab0ac28f217bc01f

Do you have a strong memory for tactile or other senses?I can still vividly remember what the dolphin and sea turtle felt like when I touched them at 8 years old in Hawaii. That was 32 years ago.I forget what I'm saying while I'm talking, but I remember that.#ActuallyAutistic
