I think it'd be a powerful move if you deleted your X account (a platform that has become a vector of misinformation and a cesspool of hate).
By the way, your homepage states: "Follow us on" followed by the icons of Facebook, X and LinkedIn. I always found it odd, since those are algorithm-based U.S. companies and you are the EUROPEAN Commission. How about putting your Mastodon icon on your homepage?

@muminitaly @_elena @EUCommission one thing we can do is to keep hammering the point with them. As some have already pointed out, we're not asking them to abandon their profiles on those platforms. For now, at least, just add a mastodon link to the list of "follow us" options. Maybe even as the number 1 link.

Ipocrita negarlo: ho visto "Spinal Tap II - La fine è solo l'inizio" per la morte di #RobReiner. E mi è sembrata un'eccellente uscita di scena. Perché è il sequel del suo primo #film, quasi fosse la chiusura di un cerchio. Ma soprattutto perché fa ridere e mostra il lato più "sperimentale" della sua regia che non ha mai tenuto a sfoggiare. option one: press *all* *the* *buttons* until I find which ones are mapped to :, q and ! (hoping that those keys *are* mapped to some button)
option two: get an usb keyboard from my handbag, connect it to those usb-port-looking things in the front, enter :q!
option three: program an arduino-like board to emulate a keyboard and send the keys [esc]:q! every time a button is pressed, connect *that* to the usb-port-looking thing in the front
I think option three is the most reasonable and likely to succeed one

All'inizio facevo molta fatica a leggere ad alta voce. Ora, devo dire, ci ho preso gusto.
Mi piace, sia perché rende le cose accessibili, sia perché porta i libri nelle cuffie.
Dopo Assalto alle piattaforme, leggerò anche il mio altro libro, e poi... credo proprio che continuerò a leggere anche altri libri/racconti/saggi.
