@tg this is delightful! Iβm enjoying reading all your decisions and rationale, and look forward to trying it out.
One thing I wonder if you have thoughts about: Why is so much of the interface at the top of the screen? In the era of Tall Phones, I find myself increasingly resentful of ever having to reach all the way up. Especially for common actions like back and close. Have you considered putting the Currents at the bottom of the screen? I intuit that Iβd use them more naturally that way! π
@splendorr I played around with this a /lot/ and it just could not get it to feel right. I'll keep tinkering and hopefully figure it out and then offer a toggle in settings to let you pick where things go.

@tg This reader looks beautiful, and the concept sounds well thought out. Though Iβm not sure it would work for me. Some sort of demo mode before purchase would be welcomed.
@jxrxme i'd have to make it free with an in app purchase and that has /always/ felt like a bait and switch to me. I'll look into other possibilities ...

@tg oh, sweet! we've been having problems trying to find a good podcatcher for us, especially one that's on, y'know, everything.
a note for that: i do love seeing show notes (i listen to friends at the table, an actual play that writes connected fiction in the show notes frequently), so sort of option to surface them easily/by default would be neat :3

I made it!!It was not even the save pod.
In the end I've smashed the corvette a bunch of times against some asteroids, then a few freighters came, I've shot at one and let the sentinels shoot me down.
I died, earned 1 point as pirate, but in the end I woke up back on the space station, outside that frigging corvette!!

Pity: in the new game I've started I've found two paradise planets in two systems, as soon as I've started. π
