Il post di Elena RossiniUn importante messaggio di pubblica utilità per le persone attive su #Bluesky che, dopo aver saputo che l'account ICE è stato ufficialmente verificato, hanno detto: "Lo bloccherò e basta".Il blocco su #Bluesky NON È PRIVATO: è molto facile vedere chi sta bloccando un account visitando i siti che elencano tali informazioni.Ho fatto uno screenshot da clearsky.app, elencando tutti gli account che bloccano ICE (ho pixelato gli avatar e i nomi utente per motivi di privacy).La soluzione più sicura perciò è silenziare l'account perché quell'informazione è privata e non rilevabile 😫Aggiungiamo un nostro commento: in molti si stanno chiedendo cosa sarebbe successo se ICE avesse provato a iscriversi nel #Fediverso. A nostro parere se un'istanza dovesse accogliere l'iscrizione di quell'account verrebbe defederata da tutte le altre istanze. The 🤯 option for me personally is to be able to include only replies that members of the list sent to other members of the list. Great for "Local" lists, or lists for a busy topic bubble!You can also change this setting later!#Fediverse #mastodonMeta #fediHelp

    @silverpill@mitra.social it seems like a fair starting point to establish some common formats. There's clearly a lot of work still to be done. There are some choices that seem questionable to me; the document seems to imply that KeyPackages as an attribute of the Actor objects can be retrieved without much control. I think that's problematic. They're only usable one time and they could easily be exhausted if distribution isn't controlled (they have to be replenished by the client and the client has to maintain all active packages in its key store). I gate access behind a verified signature and record who is given which package at the server to establish some limits.

    I’d like to see the #fediverse have more fun, humorous content. We have so many creative and clever people here. Bringing laughter in these times is tough but does genuine good. I want to brainstorm stuff. Maybe a #podcast? Hosted by Frankie and rotating guests?🤔
