(this is probably not actually viable except as a joke because if npm refused to do this somebody would've probably set up an archive which mirrors everything on npm but promises to never delete it--accessible for a fee. copyright doesn't solve it either. but it is interesting to think about what would've happened had npm continued to allow people to just delete packages whenever)

like... i do not think the fact that some random developer you've never heard of can prevent you from shipping your shitty electron app is a huge problem. it annoys you and it creates a problem for your employer's bottom line. these things are pretty funny to watch
