Probably not, but fun to dig into older electro-mechanical assemblies. Ran across triangle screw heads, but it turns out one of the iFixit screwdrivers had that bit.

What a pile of stuff! The lens and sensor assembly was wrapped all around in soldered flat cables. One of these little servo motors or the gears they drive just couldn't slide the lens outwards anymore. Another mystery is a finger print on the inside focusing lens.

Here's the gear assembly that extends and retracts the long lens. Worm gear on motor that drives geared shaft with encoder notches on it. Nothing obviously stripped, so maybe sand got in or lubrication dried up.
