Sorry, I didn't mean to direct this urge at the tagged people in particular.

I'd rather have *everyone* in the FOSS world see Wayland for what it is, and cease to pour their efforts in the sunk cost fallacy.

Had all the time, energy and life that people poured into Wayland for over 15 years spent instead of fixing the issues of Xorg and addressing the shortcomings of the X11 protocol, it would have been a lot more productive.
