@ami_angelwings (the christmas truce remains one of my favorite betrayals of all time)

@ami_angelwings I picked mentor/ally, since I admit I really can be that gullible and slow on the uptake sometimes. I could see scenarios where it started as a fake betrayal that still had real consequences because I didn't catch it in time and someone took it too seriously.
But it's probably the unlikely person I took on out of friendship/pitty/I knew their parents who everyone gives a hard time because they're weak/annoying who's finally had enough of everyone's crap.

@Fragglemuppet @ami_angelwings we're actually feeling good about ourselves as activists because we already know from experience what a lot of these are like and how to not do them again

@ami_angelwings All of these are super realistic, but somehow I just really feel like "your best friend/partner who legitimately believed they were doing the right thing to protect you" is the one that absolutely will happen. And no doubt it was the badguys that tricked them into doing it too.
