@afewbugs Is that quote from the article trying to be discouraging? I’m all for making food sound sillier. I’d love to eat Glamorgan Tubes.

@afewbugs What is inherently meat-specific about "sausage" or "burger"? It's not like either are actually linked to part of an animal (!) or a particular cut of meat.
Plus they'll have to ban meat loaf and sausage rolls, because loaf and rolls are clearly associated with bread, not meat, and we wouldn't want someone getting confused and accidentally eating meat.

Well if French is such an "unprecise" language that french consumers don't understand are they eating meat or plant based items, why don't they just learn a more precise language like finnish and start using that in kitchen instead!
