@quillmatiq@mastodon.social I know that image was meant to be reflective of the ATProto dev landscape, but you're really underselling the variety of applications in that "Fediverse" catch-all bucket
Came to this realization because of standard.site.
After it's baked into Bridgy Fed, both my micro- and macroblogs are sent to the Fediverse via a single account that supports multiple types. As we add more lexicons, that expands the number of types I can send via that one account.
First snowshoe walk of the winter. Testing the ice, promptly broke through where the beavers built a dam. Feet stayed dry but dam(n) beavers! 😒 Also, yodelling for the local chickadees, one came and quickly went into action hiding every seed away.We left a filled feeder behind. I hope next time there will be more birds. And thicker ice!#winter #snowshoeing #hiking
*Hemitomes congestum* (https://w.wiki/UH7) lacks chlorophyll because it gets its nutrients by parasitizing fungi. Very cool find on a summer's evening. Withholding location data for this rare plant, but let me know if you're a conservationist or scientist working with rare plants in the area and I'll happily let you know where I found these little cuties. #PNW #USA #WA #JeffersonCounty #Summer #Nature #Flora #Plants #Forest #Outdoors #Camping #Photography #MobilePhotography
