I need to do some lifecycle management on my #gotosocial instance.
It is running on an Asus VivoPC with a dual core 2957U Celeron processor, and that's fine.
However disk access is extremely slow, so I am swapping the mechanical HDD @ 5400 RPM with an SSD, and increasing RAM a little bit. It is not needed for GtS, but for me to browse and use the PC for other tasks.
So I'll be going missing in a few hours until let's say tomorrow morning (CEST).
I'll be using my spare account @77nn

AWS è di Amazon.
Amazon è commerciale.
Quanto vogliamo fidarci di uno spazio che è proprietà di Amazon per qualcosa che offre un sistema di tutele per chi è esposto alla repressione?
Questo non lo so, personalmente direi zero ma questa è solo una mia opinione.
Beninteso: tutto questo non lo dico volentieri, io per primə ho suggerito fino a ieri Signal a persone che cercavano un'alternativa a WA e altro senza molte competenze tecniche e ci son rimastə di merda vedendo che stava su AWS.

@stefano I had to buy a printer recently, only to print medical records because the alternative was using an online system which explicitly demands full remittance of the patient data privacy rights.
so, to protect my patient data privacy I have to cut down trees and now own a mostly plastic laser printer. IN 2025. THIS IS HAPPENING IN 2025.
