Also pictured: the wiki for FreeBSD Discord very recently cautioned that the FreeBSD Community Code of Conduct can not be enforced. I do not imagine that this caution relates to any recent misconduct there …

On the other hand, I feel like I have bettered my use of Godot. Instead re-coding the same snippets to play music, I finally made a drop-in control scene that has a folder variable. So now I can just point to a folder and have random music playing from that folder..

And, it's 169k without putting any effort into shrinking it. It'd fit on a floppy, even a Commodore 1541 floppy (though only barely, and probably not actually, as there's probably some overhead). I was a little worried about Qt Quick, because they apparently added JavaScript and something like HTML to Qt to make QML work, and I was concerned that would lead to bloat, and I'm sure it did, but not much.

I am laughing at myself.
For a few days there I was telling myself, "Boy, you got this shit on lock, you are the master and commander of this project, everything working on the first try? You fucking rock!"
But today I have found out, that I was just lucky the first few go arounds, and that, "oh, shit, it's actually hard to have a chase cam follow a character down slopes without getting blocked, who knew!"
