When I had a Palm III I used extensively LispMe, a Scheme development environment for Palm OS. It was quite capable, supported GUI primitives, and I had lots of fun writing several programs including a bytecode disassembler.
In this paper the developer described the implementation and architecture of LispMe, which did a lot with the limited resources of the device:

@mattof You're welcome. It's a nice little system that already made possible coding on the go a couple of decades ago.

Avevo un laboratorio di recupero PC dismessi che donavamo a chi ne aveva bisogno.
Purtroppo è bruciato e non riaprirà, ma erano sopravvissuti al fuoco 4 PC che andranno a una fondazione, ora hanno a bordo @ufficiozero che ringrazio moltissimo.

@peteorrall hey there! bit of a delay here, as I'm just getting back on socials after a holiday break. it's a decent box, the processor itself is strong, very high ranking on single core performance, and 32 threads is a decent minimum per-socket for my workloads. my only desire with it would be more PCIe lanes - either via physical or through a PCIe retimer/redriver switch.
