A circa 200 anni luce dalla Terra, il nucleo di una stella morta orbita attorno a una stella più grande in una sorta di macabro balletto cosmico. La stella morta è un tipo di nana bianca che esercita un potente campo magnetico mentre sottrae materiale alla stella più grande, convogliandolo in un disco di accrescimento vorticoso.

I have finished my only job for the week. I did not intend to have the entire week of Thanksgiving off, but here we are. Perhaps I’ll get the deck refurbed. Or I might power through dozens of hours of The Outer Worlds 2. My ADHD hasn’t told me which yet.
