@jas There are different modules you can swap in, iirc this doesn't apply to all of them but I'm not quite sure. Regardless, the big thing is we *can* switch out the modules with MNT devices. Even RISC-V and FPGA modules exist for it

La questione attuale è che io cinese con l'aeroplanino atterro a Nizza e non a Genova e col furgoncino arrivo in un ora in Italy senza pagare i due euri e tu ti fotti il mancato arrivo dell'aereo e gli euri di tasse che speravi.
A livello UE sarebbe stato molto ma molto più difficile...

Meglio tardi che mai. Ma se questa decisione non è affiancata dall'invio delle armi necessarie all'#Ucraina è solo un costo. E a proposito di Difesa: ieri sono stati stanziati i prestiti SAFE (Security Action for Europe) per 8 Paesi #EU: all'Italia 14,9 miliardi. Speriamo di non sputtanarli.

@cwebber I'm so glad I stumbled upon this thread, pointing out the fascist nature of the global AI race so many are calling the great democratizer. With enough critical thinkers, maybe civilization will come to its senses before hyperscale data centers become this era's pyramids to explore in the future.

@soapdog that's a nontrivial downside. I don't suppose it would be possible to add a “merge” feature to the storage? Sohen you only post from one of the machines, in the others it'd just “fast forward” to the latest when they have the possibility to sync, and if they can only sync after having posts on both sides you'd get a “branching” history with sync points? In contrast to revision control systems, there would be no need to worry about conflicts.
