Just a few days ago a #multikernel architecture was proposed for #Linux kernel. Separate from that proposal from #MultikernelTechnologies, it turns out #Bytedance has been working on their own solution called #Parker. Today Bytedance lifted the lid on Parker as their solution for running multiple kernels simultaneously on the same hardware/system.It looks like several firms are now pursuing multi-kernel experiments for better dealing with today's high core count systems https://www.phoronix.com/news/Linux-Parker-Proposal

Okay #Linux folks, I need your help. I’m currently running #CachyOS with #GNOME and #Wayland and it’s mostly great…except it doesn’t recognize my F14 and F15 keys on my keyboard. I’ve spent two days trying to figure out the problem. I’ve got a first gen GMMK Pro with custom QMK firmware so I know the keys are mapped. I’m not opposed to moving to a different distro for DE but since I use this rig for gaming I’d like something that can handle Steam and Nvidia graphics without exploding. #LinuxHelp

@aeva I considered reshade but thought it would be a pain to set upWayland absolutely makes this kind of thing harder than it was under X11. I have found some limited color control via wlr_gamma_control_unstable_v1 (this seems to be how things like redshift are meant to work on Wayland) but I have no idea what the support picture looks likeIf somebody doesn't come along with my dream fix I'll probably write a utility that uses it and find out for myself
