I wish I were surprised at all. But this is what I expected to happen. I’m 100% sure that they’ll make more series they call “Star Trek”, but it won’t be Star Trek, because fascism can’t understand what Star Trek is even about.

@mos_8502 I mean, the Star Trek people tried to make a show to appeal to fascists in Section 31, to answer the question, "What if a utopia requires dirty cops and a lot of torture to keep things spinning for the elites?"
The fact that Section 31 got green-lit tells me the current Star Trek producers don't actually understand what Star Trek is even about, either.
