Well fucking shit motherfuckers. Vim & Neovim are both contaminated with LLM slop.
I mean, I can just use ed. Or roll back Vim to an old version and never let it update? Fuck.
I do have a new Mac coming, so I could just commit to BBEdit, tho that's less optimal for code editor. Assuming siegel hasn't done something stupid?
Ha ha I could finally switch to emacs with vile binds and then NOTHING will work.

This should be the dream job of so many developers in this world and this guy is ruining it preferring believing in the metaphore of an AI. No Ai is happy, no AI "explains" something and nobody is "talking" to an AI.

@stefano @forgetpassword hello yes I am the FreeBSD implementation maintainer. Their deployment/configuration tooling is heavily dependent on Debian/systemd, so I re-implemented it with a self-contained Chef cookbook
it's fully compatible and about 95% identical. A few minor changes are made like keeping the scheduled maintenance jobs as crons as they migrated to systemd timers.

My son loves making games, but should I encourage him, or persuade him to pursue a different career...

@forgetpassword hello! This is currently running on Debian (that's why I'm not promoting it as an "official" BSD Cafe service) but I've had good results with the @feld script to install it on FreeBSD: my secondary server is doing great. When I'll have enough time, I'll migrate the BSD Cafe one to FreeBSD 🙂
