I've just seen that one train from Lugano to Malpensa has been running 1 minute early (but not to worry, not it's back to being 1 minute late :D ) so the alternative route seems to be working regularly
the description of the disruptions on the Como line reminded me of the Crypto-Bolshevik Insurrectionist card in Munchkin Steampunk (i.e. nobody understands them), but they also give hope that the EC may be actually traveling to Milan, only skipping the stop in Como (or maybe not)

I guess what I was saying when I wrote this is that the web has become a sea of silos that donโt interop with each other.
But if they did, this is how they would do it.
Example: podcast software agrees on the format of audio files. Itโs ridiculous that text apps each think they can limit the features of text documents, in incompatible ways, esp since the web is so clear on the features of text documents.

Thatโs fair. The use case is that any app that proposes to be part of the web should minimally support these features of the web.
Examples include Bluesky, mastodon, twitter, threads.
I know they wonโt, because they havenโt so far.
