So many of the absolute worst accounts I suspend should *never* have gotten past signup 😮💨
If your username contains a slur, hate-speech, or a well-known troll or dogwhistle reference, then it is a failure of your moderators and administration if that account ever sees the light of day.
If someone walks into your instance doing a Nazi salute and you don't slam the door in their face *hard* then you've let your community down.
I'm looking at you mastodon.social, mas.to, vivaldi.net, ...

@alice Can you tell me any more info about social.vivaldi.net moderation issues? (it's fine if not - please ignore us if it is better for you)
I keep hearing rumours that are just allegations of bad moderation without any detail.
And I have seen vivaldi actually ban a user I reported before for dog whistles.

I was going to comment about that, but from https://pizza.enby.city/users/domo/statuses/115328690748595820 it would seem you can put the flagged user name choices under moderation so a human can check if it's an actual fash/troll or just an unfortunate Scunthorpe.

@theogrin They did this in 2019 as well, but the flag was across the street from the park.
For those who don't know, this is a tiny triangle of land designated as a National Park. It is locked up most of the time, including during Pride fest. It is run by the Federal government. (they might shoot you) You cannot just go in and put up another Rainbow flag.
