The damage in the office following #Crapturday has been estimated at about €11,500 + VAT. The floors became soaked and continue to release both odor and crystals. The insurance companies are finding every possible excuse not to pay. The assessor from the first company wants to "come back to take another look" (even though he was the one who initially suggested I get a proper quote because the damage was clearly not trivial), and the assessor from the second company will be there tomorrow morning. So I'll have to go there and waste half a day: I can't work from there, I can't park near and I need to be there. And, of course, it will be raining (even if it's not been raining for more than one month).
All I know is that my office has been unusable for two months, and my patience, although extremely large given that I already have other things on my mind during this period, is starting to run out.

... and this is why commit hooks and preflight checks are useful. Probably need an action of some kind to stop bad links from creeping in to blog posts in the future.
