I don't want to watch the laast season because then that would be the end. I can't. I can't do that.

There is a show on Prime... The name of the show is Patriot. It has only two seasons.

I have only seen the first season. Multiple times. Maybe I will never have it in me. To see the second one.

But...

The writer of Patriot has a new show (on HBO) called DTF St. Louis

And it is every bit as great as Patriot.

King, of course, may not be everyone cup of tea. But there's something he does. He explains concepts and events which are complex or supernatural or both... And condenses them into an easily understable set of sentences. It makes me mad how easy he makes it seem.

To be clear, I'm not saying GIMP is bad! (Tough maybe it badly needs a rename!) But the features (I would use) in GIMP are not worth my time to learn its complexity.

I have tried almost every image editing program on Mint's Software Manager. Not one comes close to Paint.NET in the combination of features vis-a-vis ease of use.

I think LazPaint while not exactly the same might (HOPEFULLY!) at least stop me from running to Windows so I can use Paint.NET

@Lynx Add to that, that you would need to become a marine, make it to captain, learn about commanding a ship, etc etc etc... To launch a paper plane hehehehe

Imagine someone says, "I wanna make a paper plane and launch it to see how far it goes."

And someone else replies, "Here is this aircraft carrier, just use the comms to tell a pilot to launch a plane."

It seems like both people are talking about launching a plane. But there's a very real chasm of meaning between the two.

When I say I want something like Paint.NET and people recommend GIMP, I feel like they have never made a paper plane. 😇

@Sablebadger Pinta is hardly an alternative. Pinta is more like plain Paint than Paint.NET.

Oh... I might have finally found a Linux alternative to Paint.NET!!!

Oh my Luigis... I just made a multiline polygon without having to read a discord. It has clear tooltips to guide the user. Insert text has both shadows AND border!!!!???!?!!! You can focking MOVE the text after typing!!!>>>??? It's amazing... How come no one recommended this before!?!?

And it works on Windows too, this is lowkey amazing to me... The interface looks dated, but it's pretty clear.
