@D_J_Nathanson ahhh... Someone said it was the Oscars... but definitely the community movie watch could also have something to do with it.

Wow, my Home feed is just a couple posts long!@hashraydamon oh, is that today? I don't remember the last time I watched that... I think Billy Crystal was the host.

Wow, my Home feed is just a couple posts long!@20000lbs_of_Cheese I hope to be alive and well to hear at least that.

Wow, my Home feed is just a couple posts long!Wow, my Home feed is just a couple posts long! This happens when there's a lot of Boosts (which I have disabled) or there are a lot of filtered posts.
So seems everyone is talking about something I have filtered, uspol related maybe?
Is it the death we've been waiting for? 🤞 🤞 🤞 🤞

This is almost what I wanted. This is almost what I wanted. Still too hard to control reliably however.
I will try experimenting with the control such that, when the player pushes forward, have the capsule sort of self-right itself away from the camera. (PS: But I have no idea if I can achieve the effect, it was hard enough for me to get this as is while avoiding RTFM LOL.)
Level generation needs a lot more work. But this homage to "Cleaning The System" could be a fun short time waster.

Tried two image editing Linux apps to:@lain_7 I feel like a crazy person, honestly.
I am talking about usability not automation. Programming a solution is not usability no matter how much I love programming.
The issue is not "I don't/can't know how to do XYZ"
But rather, that the absolute easiest way to do XYZ is on Windows, and while I have tried two dozen different Linux applications (including the one you mentioned) I have yet to find one as easy as what is on Windows.

Tried two image editing Linux apps to:@critter_in_flux And, to be clear, I am not saying Krita/GIMP/KolourPaint are badly made applications. They are pretty amazing achievements in software and then they are FOSS on top of that which by itself deserves great respect.
But they are not the right combination of features to usability ratio I get somewhere else.
-
Tried two image editing Linux apps to:@critter_in_flux I'm sorry, I already tried Krita. It is not for me. Or rather, it's not the right fit for these tasks.
The issue isn't "I want to add text", but that every application on Linux that I have tried makes it ten times harder than it needs to be, to achieve what in Paint.NET takes seconds. It's not a lack of features, but of usability.
It's not that there's no app to do X on Linux, but that it's far far simpler and faster to do X on Windows.

Are tacos pies?#poll@mayintoronto Like I said a few hours/days ago, pizzas are just unfolded tacos. And yes, I know about huarache.
Or, like a friend of mine used to say, "everything is the same, the difference is how it's folded."

But I just cannot, will not, agree.
Fuck mosquitoes!

Tried two image editing Linux apps to:Aside from Pinta (of course I tried it) apparently there was a Paint.NET clone called PaintPP but it seems like it's no longer available?
It looks better, and more similar to Paint.NET than Pinta does. at least.

Tried two image editing Linux apps to:@Primavera sorry, I have tried a lot of image editing applications... None come near as easy to use as Paint.NET
Not GIMP, not Krita, inkscape, tuxpaint, mtpaint, drawpile, kolourpaint, photopea, and a dozen and more than I don't even remember the names of.
It's not about features, or scripting, it's how easy it is to do those things. And Linux simply does NOT have a GUI application that works like that.
Wading through menus to do a simple copy/paste/text insert/crop and save is not great GUI

Tried two image editing Linux apps to:@BoydStephenSmithJr thanks
-
Tried two image editing Linux apps to:@BoydStephenSmithJr GIMP is precisely the program I want to avoid. Krita is like 5 orders of magnitude more complex than Paint.NET. I tried it.
-
Tried two image editing Linux apps to:@clew Automation is not the same as usability.
I tried Inkscape, of course.
-
Tried two image editing Linux apps to:@demofox Man, I just can't include everything I have tried, but GIMP is precisely one of the apps I want to avoid.
