The thing is...
Whomever told them they needed a week or more to:
1) make a simple database
2) make a simple process to ingest files in a dozen file formats
3) make sure every file is processed and traceable in the db along with contents
4) make the process repeatable and dynamic
Would have probably ended up charging way Way WAY more than I will end up charging them.
Which makes me think *again* that I should charge more for my hours.
Client: We have a huge problem. We need to put a year's worth of data into a database before next week ends.
Me: No problem. Just give me the files. I'll tell you when it'll get done.
Client: Here... (Files are indeed a lot, but well structured, and less than 100GB in total)
Me: Oh! Man, I'll do this before the week even starts for you. You'll have this ready on Monday.
Client: Wh...? How?

I didn't know there was a follow up novel to Ready Player One. I adored the first book, but the movie literally made me cry with how bad it was...
The movie lowkey made me not want to read anything by that author ever again. So, I'm not surprised they have made several books after that one.

I hate Nintendo. Although I love Zelda. And I quite like Metroid. But the last one I played was Metroid Prime.
I saw a clip from the upcoming game... Maybe I just need to go out and touch grass and get my mind out of the gutter but I felt it was somewhat suggestive. Not all of the game, but this one scene. Samus opens a door by moving a ruby clitoris to open a vagina looking entrance.

After some recent updates, my new PC has developed noticeable screen tearing. It's very annoying.
IDK if I want to use TimeShift to try and resolve it. I think I would like to try and learn how to solve graphical issues like that on Linux, or at least learn how to troubleshoot them.
Also, I've never had such a powerful PC before so I should learn how keep it in tiptop shape, right?
