My daughter and I built a PC together -- a rite of passage in our family. Built a laptop (the Framework 13) much earlier this year with my other daughter, and a Mini-PC many many years ago with my son. This went pretty well, with two caveats.. first, it didn't boot because I, uh, forgot to turn the power supply switch on.

When in doubt, I will put my money in the hands of people who desperately need it.. and generate OVERWHELMING amounts of sound scientific evidence that this works.
