At various stages of design I’d declare it as “good enough”. But trying to remove or install bag the mounts would fall off or get out of alignment and it would be back to the drawing board. I made a bottom brace that screws the two parts together and rests on headset. Swift includes an elastic strap to help secure bottom of bag to bike, mostly keeping it from bouncing around. That strap was final element to snug everything together. To remove the bag unhook strap and simply lift bag off the hooks.I also trimmed some of the material around the Swift's mounting bar openings to allow more flexible mounting options.3/3 🧵 #BikeTooter #3DPrinted #BikePacking

On trip planning list “maybe get new tire”, which never happened. After 250 miles the (tubeless) tire sprung a small leak. Topped off pressure with electric pump, sealant did its job, then 2 miles from Harper’s Ferry it became a bigger hole. Applied my first “bacon strip” (sticky plug) and finished day. It held overnight and a few miles into yesterday’s 60 mile ride, but needed topping off. Replaced plug, which worked better. I got a tube in town, but stuck to topping of air instead. 1/2 🧵#BikeTooter
