Evening visit from the deer with mom and one of this year's fawns. Coats are getting darker and thicker, fawn has lost all semblance of spots. I think they appreciate that the backyard hasn't been mowed in months due to drought. That and the rich, thick growth over the leach field. #deer

This is the kind of blob we like to see! 0.83” of rain so far this morning. It was forecasted to start yesterday but the system moved north of us, leaving us with a few light sprinkles.
