Wem muss ich hier folgen um sowas in meinem Feed zu sehen, war vƶllig an mir vorbei gegangen š¬@RecoveredExpert @tobi82 @larsmb @jwildeboer I moved from Minio to SeaweedFS. After testing Garage and SeaweedFS for many small files (the BSD Cafe media), I found that SeaweedFS is (was?) much more performant, for that specific workload. I've written something about it: https://it-notes.dragas.net/2025/11/06/self-hosting-your-mastodon-media-with-seaweedfs/

For example, a good song by Renato Zero that I didn't know about.@peterkotrcka Yes, "Pistelli and Bartolucci". I know the former owner (that has run it for 30 years) and he had to sell as he was retiring.

This is not a very easy period for me.@82mhz Grazie, Andreas! Anche a te!

For example, a good song by Renato Zero that I didn't know about.@peterkotrcka that store in Via Mazzini?

For example, a good song by Renato Zero that I didn't know about.@peterkotrcka yes, that's a great song. Renato Zero is a great artist. Songs like "I migliori anni della nostra vita", "Buon compleanno" and "Il Cielo" have been extremely important, in my life.
Buon compleanno is tied to a specific memory of many, many years ago, that is still able to trigger some strange sensations even today. -
For example, a good song by Renato Zero that I didn't know about.@peterkotrcka which one?

This is not a very easy period for me.@acirep thank you. Really, thank you!

This is not a very easy period for me.@82mhz thank you! Life can't always be a plain journey, but a "long and winding road". Let's hope the curves are mostly behind the shoulders!

This is not a very easy period for me.This is not a very easy period for me. Even though I try to stay positive, I have worries and things that keep me tense, so my mind often looks for an escape toward more positive thoughts.
The BSD Cafe, the illumos Cafe, the wonderful friends from the Fediverse and the BSD community, and many of them also in real life. Because for me the digital world and the physical one are closely interconnected. And that's fantastic. That is exactly why I am not ashamed to say that today, when I arrived at the office to meet the insurance adjuster, I found a package waiting for me. I already knew part of what was inside, but two other items, the ones in the photo here, even though the chocolates were not for me but for my wife, were a surprise. They were unexpected and I admit I was moved while opening it.
Thank you. Truly, thank you. Because I do not need AI telling me I am right even when I am wrong, but human beings whose warmth can be felt even across many, many, many kilometers.

LibreNMS and MikroTik are a great combination.@napierge I run it into a FreeBSD jail. It connects to my MikroTik devices (but not only - also Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD and OpenBSD servers) via snmp. It will detect the os and features and will start tracking and graphing them in the proper way

Inspired by a discussion elsewhere:@mwl I think you'll appreciate my BSDCan presentation š

LibreNMS and MikroTik are a great combination.LibreNMS and MikroTik are a great combination.
A client reached out because they had no clear idea how their queues were configured or whether they were actually needed. After all, "everything seems to be running fine.". The usual mantra: "if eveything's working, what am I paying you for?"
I pulled up LibreNMS, grabbed a couple of screenshots, and suddenly everything made sense.
The response? "WOW."
