An irrational number whose expansion includes all possible integers as subsequence is called a normal number, not all irrational numbers are normal; in fact, not even all transcendental numbers are normal. In fact (bis), pi and e are only CONJECTURED to be normal. No proof of their normality has ever been given.

@paulrickards it does look very similar mechanically to the EB-50 penwriter, although the Gracia ER-20 doesn't have the mode switch to make the computer and typewriter be friends. The seller didn't have the gebruiksaanwijzing for it, so I'm trying all the key-combos to see if it is maybe a soft function.

@GustavinoBevilacqua @LaVi @rapitadaglialieni mi risulta che per anni nel regno unito ci sia stata una persona il cui lavoro era guardare le trasmissioni BBC più importanti e quando stavano per arrivare al finale alzarsi e andare ad accendere la centrale idroelettricae prima di considerarlo un lavoro da sogno rendetevi conto: tutto il tempo a guardare trasmissioni tv, ma *perdendosi sempre il finale*(adesso che io sappia la cosa è automatizzata, per fortuna)

@stefano i ordered one for next year (found it online here) as it seems this machine is being replaced soon and i don't want one with more buttons, bells and whistles ;-)Look what the postman just delivered. Exactly what i wanted, a cheap machine (the filter holder drives me nuts and i will see if there is a decent replacement) which makes decent coffee. Thank you!
