Siccome mi seguo dalle mie istanze, il mio post compare nelle timeline delle mie istanze Mastodon, NodeBB, Friendica, ... dalle quali poi mi commento. Mi aspetto che i miei commenti da quelle istanze appaiono in calce al mio post su Ghost. Non è così, non compaiono. Ghost sì mi notifica i miei commenti, ma li tratta come se fossero messaggi privati, non li pubblica. Perché? Secondo me, non è così che dovrebbe funzionare la federazione.

I'm looking for active federated communities on the fediverse where users share tips, tricks, and best practices for using the command line. Something similar to the Arch Linux forums but accessible through the fediverse. I've checked out a few communities like Command Line@lemmy.ml (1.47K subscribers) and Command Line@programming.dev (2.09K subscribers), but they seem to have many subscribers but no active users per month. It feels like Lemmy smothers these niche communities somehow. Does anyone know of other active federated communities or instances where command line enthusiasts gather to share knowledge and help each other out?

Today I discovered the Fediverse Software Database, and it’s a bit disheartening to see how many platforms have so few users. What are some ways we could help promote these smaller or newer Fediverse projects and give them more visibility?

PeerTube Co-op Initiative: Week 2 Update Two weeks ago, this was just an idea. Now, it’s becoming an organization. Since launching the call for a PeerTube co-op, momentum has turned into structure. Over 35 people have expressed interest in becoming founding member-owners, and the Steering Committee has now been formalized. We’re in the orientation phase, preparing to define the co-op’s mission, vision, and bylaws before incorporation in BC. We’re also working closely with GIA Consulting Co-op, who will join our first Steering Committee meeting to help orient the group and guide early governance discussions. Beyond that, conversations are expanding. I’ve been in touch with CoSocial.ca (a Canadian Mastodon co-op) about collaboration, BT Free (a Fediverse non-profit PeerTube host) about resource-sharing, and @damon@social.wedistribute.org from We Distribute about the initiative more broadly. Next step: Steering Committee orientation, followed by our first working session on Vision & Mission.
