@tg I cannot import my OPML file into Current. I am running Current on an Intel MacBook Air running MacOS 15.7.3. I can bring up the little "Import OPML" window, but clicking around that window does nothing. I had also tried to drag and drop my OPML file - no luck.
@ctt sorry about that! known issue, but the fix is waiting at apple for release. should be updated soon!

@jimmitchell @ctt great workaround! sorry about this - I have filed an "urgent" review request with apple to get it expedited.

I've been building an RSS reader for the past year. No unread counts, no inbox to clear. Just a river that flows at its own pace.
Today it's live on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. I wrote about everything that went into it.
@tg congrats, can't wait to try it out!!

@tg no worries, brother. There's always a v1.0 hiccup or two. Great piece of work and idea. Kudos for thinking outside of the box.

@tg Congrats on the launch! I am loving it so far. I was wondering if there is any plans to allow for a web view. Two of my most viewed feeds are best on web. (hell gate & garage day news letter via kill the newsletter)

@tg argh! I am literally agog to try this on my computer, but due to circumstances beyond my control, that won’t happen just yet. But thank you for posting. This is simply astonishing stuff. I love the idea of what you have done here.

@tg I assume there shouldn't be any problem using it as a frontend for FreshRSS, yeah?

@lrhodes yup, freshrss is supported. If you run into anything with it, do let me know and I'll get it patched up quick.

@tg This is a beautiful app, been giving it a try on iOS and macOS and I'm loving it.
Do you have any plans for Android down the line? asking for a friend 🥺

@tg Nice! I made an RSS notifier for similar reasons, just show me something new and I'll decide if I want to read it now, or save it for later. Your "velocity" system is beautiful

@tg this is delightful! I’m enjoying reading all your decisions and rationale, and look forward to trying it out.
One thing I wonder if you have thoughts about: Why is so much of the interface at the top of the screen? In the era of Tall Phones, I find myself increasingly resentful of ever having to reach all the way up. Especially for common actions like back and close. Have you considered putting the Currents at the bottom of the screen? I intuit that I’d use them more naturally that way! 😄

@splendorr @tg Thank you, Tina, for making me comfortable when I think, "that UI control on the top of the (phone) screen is too far to reach, dammit!" 😂
And thanks @tg for such thoughtful comments on the UX you crafted. And for writing, "I named the feeling phantom obligation: the guilt you feel for something no one asked you to do." 👍

@tg This reader looks beautiful, and the concept sounds well thought out. Though I’m not sure it would work for me. Some sort of demo mode before purchase would be welcomed.

@puzzled @tg heck yeah! and of course: I know there can be reasons to put things up there. I’ve wanted bottom-of-the-screen controls in MANY instances on my phone; always anchoring Back to the top left, and Close to the top right, feels especially bad to me personally.
But I don’t ask it as a challenge, simply, “Hello fellow thoughtful person! What do you think?” 😄
