no discussion of west coast grunge would be complete w/o Faith No More, particularly Angel Dust ("be.. aggressive.. bee-ee-aggressive!")
the indie/alt scene - Cake, Beck, Matthew Good, Primus, They Might Be Giants, Our Lady Peace, Billy Talent, Pursuit of Happiness ("I'm an Adult Now"), Big Sugar, Dave Matthews, The Smithereens(sorry, gave bands not tracks/albums)

@ErickaSimone The 90s was Blues Traveler, Spin Doctors, Gin Blossoms, The Cranberries, Garbage, and Dee Lite. Not to mention the whole grunge movement - Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, and Pearl Jam.
